What happened
We won a five-way pitch against other agencies from the British Council’s design roster to manage the annual report design and production.

The brief
It was crucial this year for the British Council to demonstrate their achievements as the Government and Foreign Office were scrutinising performance. The annual report design needed to represent 13 regions, their individual achievements and put them into global context.

Our solution
We developed a graphical worldwide map which identified the regions individually and was developed into the main design treatment for the report.  Key performance measures were highlighted in a clear and interesting way with colour coded bar charts and ‘traffic lights’. 

Why the client loved it
The report included so much information without overloading the reader. It not only showed the results of that year but also measured the accomplishments against the last three year’s targets as well as setting the objectives for the following year – perfect for the stakeholders!
